This is Mohammed Thanvir Ahmed Chowdhury, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Applied Sociology and Social Work, North East University Bangladesh. I have completed my Bachelor (Hon's) and Masters in Sociology from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh in the year 2006 and 2007 respectively. I was first class first in my batch. Then I have completed MSc in Development Studies with merit from London South Bank University, England in 2016. I have 11 years teaching experience in university and have 17 publications in different index journals. I have attended 13 international conferences in abroad including UCLA & Harvard University (USA) and SOAS & Oxford University (UK). I was travel grant awardee in international conferences in SOAS and Harvard University in the year 2015 and 2017 respectively. I am always involved in research projects and my major research area - Education and Development; Financial inclusion and Resilience.
